I was one of the folks who spent hundreds of thousands of gold worth or mats on bags and tools. I did everything right and wasted my mats just like lots of other folks. I know the RND system for crafting sucks, but this was not an issue with RND. It was an issue with the game not doing things as advertised. I made 15 bags and got 2 600’s and those 2 bags did not have the extend buff perk. That was because I used a luck perk on all them, because if you bag does not have luck what good is it? I would like to have some compensation for this effort. I do not think I am being unreasonable with that request. At least give me bags with luck and the extend buff perk for the 2 I managed to make.
The RND totally screwed me on my tools - I made over 50 tools and got 1 600 and it did have the mote perk. I did everything right with regards to these also and the RND screwed me royally! Not really asking for compensation for this, because the RND is part of the game, but man just think of the mats I used to make over 50 tools and got 1 600 item.
IMO you wait until the bugs after the patch are cleaned up before doing drastic things like this. I’m not saying the devs aren’t doing their job, but it’s harder to get the bugs fully ironed out until launched to the main server.
History repeats itself almost every patch. Things meant to work don’t 100% work until ironed out a couple weeks later. Oh well.
So basically you are asking for a compensation just for a bug? With the tons of bugs this game had in the past and current state, they would need to compensate their whole playerbase, not just crafters in this specific time. It sure is a mess but i doubt they will, and sorry to hear it but everybody had issues and didnt receive any compensation
Last time they did this compensation thing, I was gold capped in 10 min, lol. That was they only time they ever did a roll back. I don’t think that this is an option, given the time that has passed already.
Lost 300k of mats with this bug, I was hoping to get this new legendareis and got this, I hope they give the mats back or put the perk in the legendareis bags and tools. This was the biggest bummer I get from this game.
Rolling back crafts that were legit bugged and not operating as intended is not a bad request. However, you need to edit your title. Screaming into the void to compensate players will likely get passed up as someone complaining about queues.
Maybe change it to “roll back bags/tools crafted during bugged period before they were disabled” or something similar.
The mods have a huge number of threads to go through and a proper title helps.
On my server they once did a complete server roll back in Dec 21, iirc.
It was after they have given out compensation for a bug (I think it was when they deleted all harvesting gear from all inventories). They had a floating point error in their compensation routine where they where giving people 100x the coin compensation intended.
Within an hour or so everybody was ultra rich and some “smart” guys bought out all valuable from the markets.
It was such a mess that they decided to roll back the server for a couple of hours, iirc. But even then people were crying, oh I found so much tolvium/cinnabar/void or in those hours (which were a big thing back then).
I would think they can identify the items that are not correct. The question is how to fix those items. What perk do they remove to add the buff length perk? In my case I have 2 600gs bags I made where I used the luck perk. I don’t think I want them to remove a random perk and take away the luck perk to give me the buff perk. If that makes sense.
unless you tried to sell them from a town you owned a house in. then you got the storage full bug. i didnt want to mess with figuring out how to sell them and went to play the story. So i still have mine
So they said they were going to address this issue but what does that even mean? should we keep the stuff we crafted in hopes they return the mats? just sit on our thumbs and hope a later date is less than 3 months away?
No idea if i should go ahead and start trying to roll my bags/tools and cut my losses or wait a few more days while the market get flooded
