Roll back bugged crafts

I prefer the haste, luck and yield over the mote… but that’s just me

months of daily logging in just to make the mats. Months of showing we may play look we are hording just to have a casino house ai slurp up all the mats with free to play level of strategy.

Compensation discussions??

I am so damn glad I chose to farm the Halloween event and Stones than burn my mats on crafting tools.

Totally unacceptable.

Cant work out why it worked in PTR but didnt on live though?

The crafting in this game is a gambling simulator - unless someone is willing throw away all of their gold or has endless amounts of coin flowing in, I would not touch it.

From my personal experience today i plan on selling materials and never crafting again.

The bug was also on PTR, was reported, but wasn’t fixed. It was not so apparent on PTR, though. Because of the lack of crafting mats people were mostly free rolling bags and tools, I guess. Check out 5 head survival gaming.

It seems to run like dynamic odds poker machine with unreal loss streaks, I don’t know about the win streak. There is no pay out worth these free to play to win style odds tiered crafting system. The game sure isn’t worth it.

I can only assume this game is AI run; there is no accountably for the massive real life hours needed to farm 60 tier 5 mats for one combine just to have 30 consecutive combines fail a 5% differential to 600 gs.

AGS talks about wanting to include crafting into the game more and more yet to get a piece of armor you actually want it costs literally everything you have…

The crafting in this game plays like a mobile slots game on your phone.

There should be a 1-800-Gambling phone number attached to each Forge in NW

Maybe was, but we didnt had crafting mods… so how could we test properly

And issue that people complained since first Ptr

if anything is to be learned by this the ptr needs more testing crates so ppl can test potential crafting bugs seems like this shoulda been caught on ptr well ahead of release and if known should have been included in the patch notes for live

I am not protecting AGS, but think about it. In real life when you are in the same situation what is happening.

  • You buy a car without knowing its stolen, a policeman stop you by chance to find out that this car is stolen. They take your car. In this situation you are the final victim, you pay for the car and get nothing for the money.
  • You go into the shop to buy bread. They exchange you money which are not checked. Next time you go in the shop and pay your bill, they decide to check your money and tell you that this moneys are fake. In this situation again you are final victim and you lose full value of the money.

In game and real life this situations sux and we have nothing to do about it. Untill preventive or detection actions in systems are improved against bugs in game or fraudsters in real life, fair or not final victum will always suffer.

AGS have a history of compensating players for major losses due to their issues so… Maybe they will?

I’m guessing they will grab the bags and tools then give players a box at the GS of the bags and tools they took. You open the box to get your item and it rolls random perks based on the GS. Just a guess. But if they do this it will take a while to get everyone done.

350k? :laughing: I spent more than that on just runic leather for bags. 37 satchels each using 45 runic. Plus other mats needed and then tools…

Not dismissing the bug, but after a few not coming out as expected per the change, don’t you at some point stop crafting and say something isn’t right? Why does it take you hundreds of thousands of gold before you stop? Ive never understood how people get to that point. Especially after an update when bugs are most likely to happen.
