Many transactions happened during this bug.
Some people sold materials for high prices to the people that had this bug.
Some of them levelled their professions.
What happens to legit sell orders after a bugged person bought it?
Too many variables and you are shooting on the foot if you are going to do this case by case. It will take too much time.

yeah just roll back servers before the patch came out and let us play, then do the compensation fix later when it work as intended
If they can roll back only the affected accounts and linked TP transactions and any other transactions (linked by player IDs of the accounts impacted) then it’s much better they do that because then the rollback impacts the least number of players.
Rolling back everyone, even those not impacted, if they can avoid it, is a horrible solution. So no. If they can do it right, they should do it right, irrespective of what you think.
This bug happened during non peak hours. There are too many variables to rollback individual players… It’s gonna be another buggy mess where some people could get away with this bugged money.
