Just go back to that point and start over. Please? The game felt so much more responsive back then.

@Rivus While that request is not going to happen. What do you feel like has changed since then to impact your enjoyment of New World in a negative fashion? What specifically do you miss?

just roll back the game to initial concept and rebuild on an actual established engine please.
with an actual vision.
also blackjack and hookers.
for me personally? its combat responsiveness. melee hasn’t felt the same since the VG patch. the first clip is from 7 months ago, great axe and hatchet pov. the tracking, the snapiness… all of it isnt in the live game we have today. compare the 2 bottom clips from 7 months ago, to the ones today and you tell me why im not having fun.
like… watching the first clip is irritating, i cant honestly remember when i got damage numbers from the 2nd attack in reap on someone just walking away from me. and i got raging torrent numbers from someone who wasn’t completely immobilized.

Legendaryskin production is too low
From your first clip all i can think of is you are missing the lmb spamming. Yeah now you cant just lmb spam and magically sticking to them while they struggle to get away, now you actually have to move and think when you have the opportunity to attack.
If anything thats the only thing Im not missing, it was stupid, low skill ceiling and made everything useless that wasn’t a 300str build.
