You might not be able to join FSS, but they didn’t say you can’t join the legacy servers. Also wait till the 18th when it opens to the public
There is zero reason to transfer into a legacy server with a fresh character. And I’m expected to pay money to transfer into a duped economy?

cope more with that dupe,if u dont want to transfer to legacy do another char on fresh.just because u played with a streamer that doesnt make you special.

This event continues to be an absolute joke. Even after all of the grinding I’ve done to help unlock skins for everyone, I’m still missing a drop myself because I wasn’t signed into my twitch account. The event challenges were boring, repetitive grinds that were not fun to do or watch. Now you’re telling me I can’t even enjoy FSS with everyone else once this is all over since my RTA account is my third character? Fuck out of here.

Didn’t they say after the event was over, the servers would be opened up to anyone? So new players could join? I’m not leveling up again but I’m sure someone would.

I think people who don’t understand finances gripe the most about legacy having a “duped economy”
Yes, people have gold and resources. So yes, literally everything i put up for sale at absurd prices sells. It’s a stable economy on most legacy markets.
If i put up a scarab for 5k, it spits money out the second i hit enter.
Why people feel like this is bad, i’ll never know. You can get almost anything you want from the market with some very reasonable effort or easy drop sales. The more expensive things are to buy, the easier it is to sell and make money.
That’s the “scary duped economy” you’re worried about.

Don’t see any reason not to allow RTA to FSS transfers. This is really going to discourage anyone from wanting to help in future events. The event was already a slog for those servers, now getting people who are going to want to do a similar event in the future are slim.
Most of all I just want to hear the rationale from AGS as to why its so detrimental to the game to allow RTA characters off their servers.

Just as an FYI
RTA servers will be considered Fresh start servers after they open up to the public (currently locked to those without special access keys)
From there they stated the following. in the fresh start server announcements
Q: IF THE FRESH START WORLD POPULATION DROPS, DOES THAT MEAN IT’LL BE MERGED ON A LEGACY SERVER OR WILL IT BE MERGED WITH ANOTHER FRESH SERVER?
A: We will never merge any Fresh Start Worlds into legacy worlds.
Additionally you are making a large assumption that AGS would leave a nearly empty server online and not merge it. Above they openly state plans and conditions of merging fresh start servers together. The underlying fact being of course they are going to merge servers that no longer have populations. (if not for the player base then for minimizing the economic cost of running more servers than needed.)
from there since Fresh Start World Rollout Plan and FAQ - News | New World - Open World MMO PC Game was posted well ahead of time and clearly articualtes the lack of ability to trasnfer to other fresh start servers.

Knowing this which was posted well before the event you chose to join that server and participate in the event. Getting mad at it now is kinda silly as it was never something that was going to be allowed anyways. As the only thing since has been the talk of being able to move to Legacy servers from a fresh start server.

You people have to remember New World is a Buy to Play live service game with no mandatory or optional subscription. All they care about is if you buy New World and spend more than 2 hours in it. Everything else is just BS to them.
If the servers are so low pop, how would those affected be the “vast majority of the community”? Y’all knew the rules going in, the majority of the community is not sympathetic to your chosen plight.
RTA characters should not be allowed on Legacy servers. They are tainted and probably have illegitmate gear given to them by streamers. Keep them on RTA servers.
No. “Legacy” wasn’t unbalanced due to server transfer, they only problem was mass transfer after FREE transfer tokens were given out.
This seems to be in direct contradiction to what they stated earlier regarding RTA transfers.
