RTX 2060 on MSI GL73 8SE performing really bad with New World

Hey there,

So I have an MSI GL73 8SE with RTX 2060.
Ram - 16gb
Processor - i7 8750H CPU @ 2.20GHZ, 2208 MHZ, 6 Cores.

I’ve been trying to slightly optimise my frame rates as they are dipping badly from like 40 to 12 FPS during combat on New World in the open world. It’s mainly outside of town and it stutters and tears randomly, I’d say every 10 secs you get 2 to 3 secs of stuttering and lag. Making it impossible to play in pvp and barely against multiple mobs.

And the graphics looks better on all my games etc but FPS is bad even on medium settings.

Currently moving game to SSD drives opposed to HDD to see if that makes a difference but I doubt it.

I’ve downloaded most recent drivers from NVIDIA experience app and updated windows apps.

Is there anything I can do to check my RTX is working properly or sort my CPU/GPU usage to increase my FPS, it’s really bothering me.

I’m on the realm Kianida.

Any support would really help, love this game but can’t really play it well.

Thanks a lot for the report. Im sorry for any issues you got. We are aware for some issues after server reboot or maintenance. Please try to go to Steam Support :: Verify Integrity of Game Files in order to Verify Integrity of Game Files. Then wait for 15 minutes and try to go back to the game.
