I thought they were supposed to be automatic 600? Did they change that in PTR or am I just imagining this being a thing?
What is used for? I’m low on all crafting.
im more annoyed its a fucking stop watch made out of rocks.
it could of been literally anything else.
runestone charm, runestone mold, runestone signet, runestone sphere, runestone dodecahedron (because RNG)

exact same thing that pisses me off about the gypsum kiln being a gypsum kiln like why are we making stuff out of drywall and not to mention its where you smash crafting mods together. just call it a arcane kiln ffs.
It bumps the minimum gear score you craft to 598 instead of 595. What I dont like about it is its CON only. Not everyone wears con gear.

They should make it at least tradeable right now and look into details later if they have other priorities for now.
It should be guaranteed 600. This RNG stuff is extremely annoying. Then it would make a bit more sense if it was BoP. Why limit is to only 1 per day just so we can get a 598 or 599 when good gear falls out of the sky now?

The biggest problem I see is the Bind on Pickup status. They expect us to invest around 5-10k of mats into an item that will be completely random generated and which we won’t wanna wear in 99,9% of times. The normal crafting is already similarly bad but at least there you can sell pieces which are good but which you don’t need for your own build.
So in total i crafted 4 pieces so far using the stopwatch and got only one legendary out of it that even had a bad third perk.
Two crafts i did today and both were 598 GS…
So 1 bad legendary out of 4 tries is just not it.
I have all trophies and gear that is needed to craft 598-600 but getting 598GS items just feels like a punch in the face.

The stopwatch is a step in the right direction. It doubles the probability to gain GS 600 constitution equipment with one guaranteed perk.
Did spent lots of ressources as well crafted two pieces with probability 597-600 ( do not have one majory trophy ) and gained guess what, two 597 pieces.
As Dude mentioned, it costs a lot, including a lot of disappointment.
Would really like get behind the scenes at AGS, why the designers realized this lottery. I learned that games should feel rewarding, enticing people to stay and continue to play.
Just a few days backs to New World and the main feeling is rather disappointment.

So its been 6 stopwatches in total so far that i used and only got one legendary out with bad perks.
I think i should have done normal 595-600 crafts and also get one legendary out but not waste so many materials for the stopwatches.
I read in another thread that you could roll 600 with these even if you weren’t 200 and didn’t have trophies. Not sure if that is the case, but if it’s true, I could see them being worthwhile for people who aren’t max crafting.
I dont know about the threads you read but in reality i used 6 stopwatches and got only one legendary as a 598-600 crafter. Doesnt seem fair to me because losing 3k umbral shards and 60 runestones hurts a lot when the outcome is the same as if i havent used the stopwatch but would have craft just 595-600 the normal way.
lets just be honest here. this was really only made so that Runestone’s had a purpose after them removing expedition orbs.

wouldnt it be better to just sell the stopwatch materials over time (especially now with the hype prices) and just buy the trophies and stuff?
only 598?! Yeah, that’s not worth it, even for Tanks. Garbage system.

To much farming and the cost is way off the roof, if i get 595-599 its at least for me, the same, cause the umbral that you need arent that many. Crafted 2 of them and i will se if legendary shows up, i have low expectations on that. ASG Do it again but right this time pls.
