If you checked the weekly thread for bugs, you’d see it on there. It’s actively being worked on and tracked.

How is this issue keep getting glossed over? I grinded my way to obtaining five void ores and acquiring other materials for the voidbent light armor set only to find out that the runic thread is essentially non-existent.

Same. I’m 3 ores away now.
They’ll link trading posts (terrible idea) instead of storages, and go on and on about the issues of the game in a massive post, but completely fail to acknowledge 33% of their 600 GS end game armor is UNOBTAINABLE! day 7 AMAZON!
I have found the reason for this and it is explained in my post. Runic Thread and Life Crystals are both items that are currently unattainable.

this would be much appreciated! In my server, no one has seen any runic thread, so i hope this is true
I have to admit, I made a mistake. I confused the item with a Tier 4 Epic Item with a similar icon.
That’s a good find even if it tells us what we already know, it’s nice to understand specifically why.
I just wonder how in the hell Amazon Q&A (if it even exists) missed this… like so many other bugs/exploits they patched.

A new mob is being introduced, called the Varangian raiders. They are actually humans and probably drop it. Test it in PTR
Why on earth would you assume this? According to their updates, these mobs are intended to give the lower levels some flavour. Runic Thread is an end-game tier 5 resource.
i mean maybe they could, some legendary weapons that drops from enemies dont drop unless youre of a certain level so it could be the case but yea i highly doubt it

From reading the patch notes I don’t think this got fixed. However once the files are updated on git I can take a look but that probably wont be for 2 or 3 days after the patch. I would be surprised that a bug like this has gone so long without getting fixed but you only have so many devs to work on things and the small tasks sometimes fall at the bottom.
