That’s ok, GS is supposed to be a tank weapon, balance is achieved when it requires more player skill than a shield and you don’t have almost the same damage as a dps.
Tanking with SnS in this game gets boring really fast so i hope that more options come to the table.
i think we all like to have a challenging m10 and world bosses, not just left click all the game to death.
The low amount of damage life staff has makes soloing brimstone content unbearable.
There’s a reason why enchanted, keen and vicious are considered dead perks on LS. Its not cause the healing perk is better. The LS tickles everything that isnt light armor 50 CON.
I dont think LS has enough DPS to kill 200 CON medium bruiser using health pots, regen pots, and hearty meals. 0% chance unless you legitimately alt tab for 15 seconds.
As same as I hate if ppl tell lies like healers could stand in their sacred ground afking, I don’t like the opposite as well. Sacred ground does a LOT more than healing for 1k per tick. It gives fortify (mandatory perk), it increases stamina regen by 50% (holy ground in tree) and it doubles ALL additional healing (anointed in tree) like other healing spells, pots, whatever. Thats why sacred ground plus beacon is a monster.
1000 health per second is a lot. If I could hit 80% of my basic shots with a FireStaff I would break even. But that heal is an AOE heal. And that heal lasts for 12+ seconds with no further input from the healer, leaving them free to do other things. Make it a channeled spell and then maybe it wouldn’t be so OP.
i would suggest remove all the tab targeting and auto targeting healing and passive dot healing.
make it heal like firestaff doing dmg that actually requires you actively doing something.
It just feels like you guys dont play this game lol. No offense, but how can u try to talk about nerf healing when there is no difference between 1v1, 3v3, 20v20 and 50v50? If they nerf it to balance for small scale it will be shit in wars, if they manage to balance it in wars will obviously feel overpower in 1v1 and 3v3.
I don’t know what type of wars u guys played, but nowdays i have to PRECAST my single target speel sometimes and pray my melees don’t get one shot in less than 1.5 cast (yes you have to precast and block the cast if needed and start casting again)
Healing should be impactfull, if you think u can win a 5v5 without healer vs a team with healer you guys just dont understand how the game works, and if an healer got on a sacred and start tbagging you is normal, don’t worry we have 0 chance to kill you anyway, tbagging while on sacred or afting the reposte hits is the only thing we got lol)
I will assure you there is NO WAY people can survive only with sacred in a clamp (unless they are gods that precleanse, iframe important abilities , throw their combo and get out all in the 5 seconds, and even there they may explode anyway),
Sacred grants only 10% fortify (16 on LS but is risky af to use) orb fortify get always removed with oblivion anyway, if not you are playng vs bad players.
Please don’t blame sacred or healing output, just use disease to counter healing or start focus the healer like everyone does and stop cry lol
yep, press one button flamethowing actually requires u activily doing something , it means you cant do any other thing at the mean time,
not like SG, it passively heals ppl and the heal can swap wep and dancing around trolling while doing its job.
I don’t wanna talk about you equip that is not actually bis, it is still fine, except healty toast and stamina recovery or Thrust/slash prot is too broken to skip on that.
BUT can you please tell me where u got that rapier??? You can’t craft weapon with refreshing so i guess you dropped that, still i cant see anything like that in the database
burning stacks by flamethrower and light attacks plus fireball burning field, I don’t think fire staff is a good example for a weapon that requires much activity to get results.
I read this tab targetting bs in several threads. But I simply don’t agree that healing is a low skill class. Most of the healers I know are using key binds for their group members which they swap during casting time if needed, constantly toggling group mode on and off in large scale fights and aiming sacred grounds where they suppose the fight will be. So healers usually use much more keys than any other class and they are a first priority target so they are constantly chased while having to deal with this shitty targetting system NW offers. It just doesn’t feel as simple as you describe it.
I think you just read last replies to this topic. Ls already got nerfed with stamina and rapier, people still complain about it so i think it is smart to talk about a rework in the healer department like I tried last time
