Who do I need to contact to get this ring replaced / the 9000 umbral shards to upgrade it.
I am referring to the bug in the patch notes:
" * Fixed an issue that caused the salvaging function to unintentionally consume additional items."
It’s just gone. I’ve never heard of them replacing gear
They did compensation for harvesting gear once.
I would hope they would consider this in extreme cases.
I mean AGS has nerfed perks and weapons and etc that people have invested shards into in the past and they did nothing to compensate players. I doubt they will do anything. Unfortunate
In one of the RARE cases where I actually think the AGS Customer Service site will actually work for you, I recommend reaching out to them.
They have done item replacements in the past. I’d be surprised if they didn’t make it right here, especially on an item like that.

That sucks.
…but I have good news for you: you can recover the ring in two runs of M10 Laz. I’m not saying that to be flippant, I’m just pointing out that this is thankfully a relatively easy-to-replace item… 40 minutes of grind.

ye cuz they deleted it.
Same thing happened to my loom pants. At least now I don’t have to differentiate them with my woodworking pants based on which ones are tight in the crotch.
If I could give you one of my 5 extra smooth bone rings and one stack of my 200,000 shards I would.
