Nothing new. This problem exists since the beginning. If you salvage e.g. Shadewalker shoes that are crafted predominantly with Phoenixweave, upon salvaging you get 1 or 2 pieces of Runic leather if your craft is above 595 or Infused leather if under.
All AGS have to do is assign the task of checking the salvaging tables to someone with basic common sense.
