just me or anyone else wished we had more options as a way to increase weight capacity? i know there are some life tools that decrease weight of resources but it feels like we need more satchel options.

I crafted my first one couldn’t wait for quest to get it, and now I have two.
What helps me is to use storage to leave allot of heavy materials and salvaging gear I don’t use. But they think that more bag would break the immersion, who knows. It would be better to have more.
just try and get better satchels, i think the better the rarity the more u can carry
i crafted the +100 (faction vendor) but still seems weird that we can only equip 1 satchel very somany levels.
i think its pretty good that we cant equip a bunch so we have to go back to the settlements and do stuff
Yeah, the higher quality materials you use, mods, and the blue stuff (Azoth or w/e) will give you higher item level and a better shot of getting a perk. Higher the item level, the more efficient the tool. Also, make sure you get the rune of holding from your faction vendor.
I find it useful to keep heavy crafting materials in storage. You can still craft with them being in the storage. So it helps me keep weight low, especially if I’m going to farm for a while to collect more crafting materials. Id be down for more satchel space though.
I’m a hoarder. I own guilds in other games for the access to a private guild bank to use as storage. I really haven’t had too much to complain about inventory wise in this game.
A couple of things that you have to understand and know about inventory management to get the most out of what you are given:
Dump stuff you want to keep in town storage. If you don’t know about town storage look into it.
Don’t save more than 1 of any weapon type in storage while leveling id argue not to save any. You can’t create alts on a server. You will replace it more than likely before you will use it especially with skills tied to weapon mastery the likelihood of trying a new weapon is less and less as you level as you have to start over leveling new mastery. Gold is prevelant enough if your eally want to switch buy something level appropriate on the auction house.
ALWAYS refine before storing. Smelt your ore into bars, etc. The refined material ways a fraction of what the raw material weights. It’s a factor of 2-3. This means alot more storage capacity if your condensing before storing. Since you can craft literally hundreds of combines in a few seconds there is no reason not to do this.
Don’t keep any materials in your bag always store them in town. You can craft from storage.
If you follow these guidelines unless you are simply just gathering for hours and hours you rarely if ever will hit your capacity between visits to town, at least that has been true for me at early twenties and I typically stop and gather everything… I run 3 faction quests and 3 town quests all at once and return between each set of quests.
i just wished we had bigger satchel capacity so i dont keep coming back so often, after farming wood or minerals
you unlock 2nd satchel slot on level 30.
Then you craft 2nd level carry satchel for 10 steel bars, 25 saten, 45 leather and you need the bigger bag caharm from faction vendor. This bag has +200 capacity. and you can carry two.
So since level 30, your carry capacity is more or less 500.
I’m still not happy about it
And? That’s a “you” problem. The boost to carrying capacity provided by these satchels is very generous. You’re not meant to run around with all your materials slung over your shoulder. It isn’t on AGS if you can’t manage your weight.
