Schematic not learned when consumed

What is happening: When I salvaged the furnature recipe “Goldenrod Geometric Rug”, the schematic was consumed but I didn’t learn the recipe.

Sorry about what happen with your Golden Rod Recipe.

Did you try any troubleshooting steps?

For example log out and log in? Wait a couple of minute in the process and then log in.

Or file verification?

To verify the integrity of your Steam files:

1. Load Steam.

2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.

3. Select the Local files tab and click Verify integrity of game files.

4. Steam will verify the game’s files.

Please let me know if you try anything similar or if this helps.

This is not a client issue. This is a server issue. The item was expended without the crafting flag added to my character’s profile of available crafting recopies.No level of mitigation client side will remedy this character state issue.

I have had this with a few recipes
Goldenrod Curtains
Carved Teak Bed
Stonemason Table
Large Teak Table

So I salvaged all of these …which cost me an arm and a leg to get and they are not on my crafting list and so apparently not learned

I need your character name, server and game logs please.

You can get the game logs in this way:

1. Press Windows+R on the keyboard, type %appdata% and press enter.

2. Open the most recent file from this folder: /AppData/local/AGS/New World/LogBackups.

3. You can use pastebin to copy the contents of the latest log and send us the link.

I know its not a solution for everyone who has salvaged & not learned a recipe, but I found this website (Recipe & Schematic Tracker - New World Database) to be helpful for not only tracking recipes/schematics( since schematic names don’t match what you unlock), but it also saved me from salvaging something that is most likely broken. I go to enter the name in before salvaging to double check I don’t already have it and this particular one had a warning sign next to it which I hadn’t seen befor…

Has there been any update on this? I’ve had a few furniture recipes not end up in my crafting list after salvaging the recipe. Namely “Goldenrod Geometric Rug” as well, I’ve started just putting them all in the storage shed till I know it’s fixed and hopefully you can restore the rare recipes we are now missing.

At the moment this is known issue which we are working to solve.

A Primary ticket was made to gather all the info needed and when we got an updated I will let you know!

Maybe you can help me a little more if you share with me some info like:

1 - Character name.

2 - Server.

3- Game logs.

I reported this ages ago, still nothing. Wasted schematics that I imagine we will never see appear in our crafting catalog. Really hope it gets fixed, because I love the Ebonscale style furniture, and that seems to be the target of this bug.
