  • What is your character name in New World: DaEggSauc3
  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Camelot
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: 4 players ( a shao a , lilimie , jeremysoul , sunhonglei ) are using climbing exploits (block climbing/movement abilities) to access areas that are obviously not meant for players to get to. Once there, they are sitting for hours in the same spot, killing all players who enter the Scorched mines area, and dragging the aggro of mobs onto players while they are looting chests. This has been an ongoing issue for days.
  • Is this a bug or an exploit: Exploit/Grief
  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Literally cannot get through scorched mines, or reach the area where the PK-ers are in order to make it a fair fight.
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: No
  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced: Griefing players on Elite runs recorded with Medal.tv
  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Go to scorched mines at any point in the morning for server time and find these 4 players griefing the Scorched Mines area.

EDIT: We found the route they were using and methods to get to the griefing spot. I logged back in today and immediately ran into another player “Are paying” abusing the exact same thing

isnt the person using jumps and climb function to get to that location. I wouldn’t call that an exploit. Anyone can get up there with a few jumps. Also can use a musket to kill the people up there.

no you can just climb using the regular climbing mechanics.

so at some point in that video they used burn out to dash across a gap.All movement skills got nerfed last patch to drop way faster…does it still work or not?

Apparently it still does, you have to hug the wall from what I’ve heard others say. I haven’t been able to replicate it myself more than once so maybe there’s something I’m missing. It happened to be luck after a half hour but I was able to do it one time. But I guess that’s all it takes, then they can set a camp and go back if/when they die.
