Same here, in two different computers.

It started after this morning’s update.

Bump. New World is literally unplayable right now because my screen hangs up constantly. Here’s a screenshot. I was farming an iron node, screen froze, force closed the program.

Logged in again, as soon as I enter the server, screen freezes again. help @Luxendra

Same with me. Absolutely unplayable. Server is AP Southeast. Other issues also include faction NPCs missing, objects like rocks, fences, boats in reekwater, some floorings are not loading properly.

The assets not loading can be fixed by reconnecting (return to main menu then recon) but screen freezing only ends with force closed. Can’t believe a small patch like that can break the game this much

Yeah, recon seems to fix assets not loading, but still annoying and obviously something glitched because before the patch, this has never happened to me.

Hey guys.

Made a change to my Nvidia Control Panel Settings which seems to may have worked for me.

Try it and see if it also works for you.

  1. Nvidia Control Panel
  2. Configure Surround, PhysX
  3. PhysX Settings
  4. Processor: “Select your GPU” and not CPU or Auto

IT’s also happening with Radeon.

Same here, but for me the game doesn’t even crash(i wish it did), i have to hard shutdown my PC(power button).

bump. This is still happening. Never happened pre-patch 1.1.2 and somehow it happens at least twice a day, sometimes more. It gets annoying especially if you guys are forcing us to play more co-op. I can’t randomly freeze while playing in Elite POIs
