Was there ever actual hype for seasons? I’ve never heard of anyone saying this game needs a battlepass. Like, what?

It’s not about disconnect, it’s just pure and simple incompetence.
This PTR was around for almost a month and they just “discovered” these bugs hours before Mar/28. It’s crystal clear that people are NOT doing the jobs they were hired for, and on top of that managers can’t even perform a single follow-up on a regular basis to compreehend what is going on, what needs fix, etc…
I feel sorry for the talented ones that are working for AGS right now, I really do.

The worst thing about the Season Pass is that they release it when the game has already really really bad reputation and a population down to the last summerhole (2022).
Really really sad how they set hope and took every opportunity to disappoint everyone but people who like to afk cut wood.

pls tell me what makes the pve in new world so good that you are playing it. PVE in as an example WoW is better then new world
That’s why I don’t get people comparing PUBG to NW lol. In the case of losing most of their playerbase yeh, I see it but they fail to also add PUBG is still widely popular. NW isn’t.
What makes PvP fun for you? To me it’s just holding left click for 30 minutes.
The bugs aren’t even the biggest issue with the game. For most people it’s the lack of content and when there is a patch planned, there’s always 0 PvP updates. It being delayed is just the cherry on top for most people.

I don’t think it’s incompetence. They simply don’t have the manpower to develop this game and maintain it at once.
This is true. The hype has mainly been for the balance changes and gear sets.
For sure doesn’t look good.
Oh, their gonna do different updates quarterly, paired with seasons.
First one…delayed by a week at minimum, possibly more.
Hopefully they make it more fluid…

I actually really like the combat. The games I played before were tab target, but New World combat is more challenging. I like to solo some really hard areas. I hate the zergs, so I go in by myself and try to figure out how to win against foes most people only do in groups of 50 or more. And I like hanging with my PVE friends. We have fun.

AGS running New World is like a homeless person winning the lottery. They have no idea what to do with it and they will just blow all the resources on unproductive stuff
Depends on how you want to look at it really… You say zero trust but I have trust in the upper decision making process involves the flipping of a coin onto a table.
With all humour aside as a gaming studio they do have a lot of work ahead of them to regain some of what they have lost in this arena.
I agree with you on this @Sithinfiltrator. I do the same sometimes, I go into a region that may be just out of my reach and battle the forces of evil in PvE. I still have my original ‘woke up on the beach’ outfit that sometimes I change into just for that extra thrill.
