AGS is waiting till 2022 but until then low pop servers will die completly… corporate logic…
Tbh. this new blog post kind of threatens you to either keep playing the game or you won’t receive another transfer token while at the same time delaying mergers further.
It’s a weird move that again mostly punishes their players, while bot accounts very likely will look quite active and engaged with the game every day.

I feel your pain as i had given up on my 700hs invested first toon, just to be able to move out with my company. Luckly for me theyhelped me outproviding enough resources for me to powerlevel through townboard quests so it took me like 40hs to get vack to 60 with a full voidbent set waiting on my bank. It is painful to give up that many hours played and start all over again.i dont know if this is a possibility for youbut if it is, letme tell you, i dont regret it 1 bit. Ive given up on believong AGS can manage their own game its beyond them.

C’mon guys, something. my server has about 50 regular players, ive never even played a game of outpost rush or won an invasion. we get to wave 4 and give up. i transferred to Agartha to play with my friends, they refuse to transfer off and seperate us again.
Can you please confirm if your statement here is still valid?
Server tokens need to be available, atleast for sale. Your server caps at 2250 people, changes in communities of this size can be drastic. Other MMOs have 10k+ pop servers, similar scale of change is not felt.
We have 0 OPR queues, cities are barely functioning. I have people who met and created relationships in New World quitting to play FFXVI and server/region transferring there to be together via paid service (mog store). This is actually insane.
You can continue to do your world mergers, but at this point you are holding people hostage during holiday season where they want to game.
Paid servers tokens should not be a dependency tie to world mergers.

Suggestion
- Make tokens available again (another free wave or paid, at this point doesn’t matter which). This enables players on dead/dying servers to move to more populated servers so they can have an actual good game-play experience especially with upcoming holidays.
- After the holidays, do the merge experiments and clean up any remaining servers by shutting them down/merging them into the other worlds in the set.
Right now merges are just so late, the population for many servers has been bleeding (players to other servers and players to other games) and the token is a current functional and most importantly working solution. Outside of the concern for a great player experience population wise, the bug history from patches hasn’t been stellar. Trying to merge before holidays could lead to technical issues that impact both the players and the devs who need to deal with it instead of relaxing.
Do the players and yourselves a favor and just make tokens available so everyone can have a nice holiday.

While I know it sucks for people who used their token and are now on a bad server, they’re not going to do a thing about transfers until well after the whole server merger thing is done.
I waited to use mine. I took advantage of the easier gathering on my dead server while I waited.
Finally bit the bullet and transferred off to a much more populated server. Loving it now.
But yeah, I saw this happening back when they first gave the free token. Waiting to use it was the best option.

There are four active threads on the topic of tokens. They’re not responding.
Should be both. A second transfer token with server mergers, and paid transfers after that.
For those that have not used their transfer token or tokens if we get another, the tokens never expire.

We’ve been sitting on dead servers for weeks, you have a system that works for tokens can you please issue a second round?
We had our eyes on the world mergers, but noticed the south american one has resulted in deleted characters.
Please don’t drag this on if there are issues in your deployments. We genuinely want to play your game on healthy servers, let us transfer.
You could start a new character and level it faster than waiting for server tranfer, at least, that is what i did, and having a blast on a new populated server.

i have not played for over a month. my faction doesnt want me, most dont speak english, and i used my only transfer token 3 months ago. gg. considering uninstalling to prove a point
