Server Merges FEB/MARCH

What queues? NW is going to hit sub 10k pop after this update watch. When they PTR’d brimstone you saw an uptick of a LOT of players whereas since this has hit the PTR the pop is still dropping. The PTR isn’t even getting over 100 players on it anymore.

yeah what if in the meantime some players get bored and find another game to play?

Keep the customer satisfied, who are already there, instead of hoping for new customer. Very simple rule.

Merge every server which is currently below 1k players and give people something to play.

Just like before brimstone

  • PLWASE MEREGEE MY SURVUR US DYING
  • patch drops, players return
  • WHY AAM I IN A QUEUEEEE AGS WTF OPEN SERVERSSSS
  • month passes, hype drops, people leave after playing all the new content
  • PWEEEAAASE MERGE MY SURVR IS DYING

rinse and repeat. Waste of working hours for the dev team.

I agree that server populations are too low. However, there is probably going to be an uptick in player populations after the patch no matter what. If the patch is bad, the player population will probably be at an all time low in April. Nevertheless, is probably too close to the patch to merge servers now, but they should be ready to merge servers a week or 2 after the balance patch (if needed).

Is it much better not to waste working hours, but just lose online because now I can’t even go to the dungeon, and the promised transfer has not been added?

Well if transfer is not working then that is in an issue that should be solved asap.

I am just pointing out that that merges just before updates are a bad move.

It seems to me that the upcoming update is not as large-scale as Brimstone. It is more aimed at current players by changing the meta, but I think not many people will return to see the battle pass and the new dungeon. At the same time, it’s already a month before the update, and I want to play, but I can’t because of the online. It is not necessary to merge, just open the transfer and the problem will be solved

You are correct, but in order not to repeat history it is better to be safe than sorry.

@Aenwyn any comment on merges? Orofena (among other servers) is hemorrhaging players daily.

+1

we need merges

We need to merge servers now to maintain the interest of the players. In a month we will lose online and by the update we will get 300 people on the servers without the return of the old and the influx of new players.

Allow transfers from fresh servers to old offerings… no players left on fresh servers!

@Luxendra Can we get merges please? Merge Lilith Amarah and Seer together and do something for EU! Like in my first post on this…

At the time of the launch of the fresh there was a feeling that the work with the servers was debugged, and now the game is losing online again due to the fact that there is no timely maintenance of the servers, at least a message or an approximate date would be enough

@o-o @Centeotl

Those who write to you about this on the forum are only the smallest percentage of those players who simply leave the game due to lack of merge

This is why I keep posting and begging the Devs to ignore all the people screaming this stuff and just leave everything alone so they can concentrate on actually fixing stuff that’s “really” broken

And again, just give us transfer to legacy servers with normal online, couse this feature is promised when fresh world are started

It was never promised. I believe it was demanded by the community (on about a million posts) but I’m pretty sure the Devs stood by their comment of “Not gonna happen”. I’m fairly sure the farthest I ever saw them bend on the subject was some Dev said (in some forum post somewhere I can’t seem to find) that transferring from Legacy to Normal “might” happen (farther down the road). I never saw any Dev, at any time, promise it was just out and out gonna happen though.

whoops

Well then! I stand corrected. But, then again… “at a later time” could be months (or years) down the road. Just means “later on down the road”.

Regardless though… You got me on that one. I must have missed that post.
