Server queue/population suggestion and possible solution

Alright Amazon, I know you are monitoring the forums and feedback being given and I want to suggest a “solution” for the server queue times that we all know from our past gaming experience.
I would also love to hear form you guys, the community, and see if you agree!

In OSRS (Old School RuneScape) you had the option to choose your world. Most of us played in world 1 but if it was full we swapped to other worlds. This allowed us to play the game, do some quests and still have progress when we had some free time to login.
Another option is how ESO (elder scrolls online) does this workaround. They have servers (=worlds in osrs) for each region (EU, NA,…) but you can’t choose them like in OSRS. You are put in one that the game decides based on the player count. You see your friends online and can travel to their “world” so you are able to play the game together.

I think this principle will be a good solution to the current queue times. Give the players an option to choose the server on every login or spread them internally based on connected users and give them the option to “travel” to their friends.

Amazon has this system already. In wars we are all moved to a dedicated sever or partition, where we can play together.

I hope this makes sense. I really think implementations like OSRS will improve NW drastically.

Thank you for reading so far. And thank you development team for your work in getting the needed fixes created and implemented. We do appreciate it.

I disagree. This would simply empower locusts to swarm to lower pop servers, plunder them, and bounce back to their ‘home’ server whenever they feel like it. Hard pass.
