I cannot choose the server my character was originally on. I am returning to the game after not playing for a while and I am trying to get back to my Company members (FRIENDS) I play with I do not think it’s fair that after being gone for sometime that i have to choose a server again for my character or go to a new server. Please put me back in Yggdrasil cause it says i already have a character in it but the character that is in that server is asking to be placed into a server. PLEASE FIX
Yggdrasil is currently locked, as such you won’t be able to select that as your world until it is unlocked. Some more details are here:

Unfortunately as stated by @JakeL the server you tried to log in is currently locked, this decision is taken in order to safe guard player experience, I do apologize for the situation experienced, you can keep an eye on the #official-news section for further information about this. Yes but please give us a good reason why it’s meant to safe guard us as it hasn’t been hitting cap or getting queues, hardly even on release weekend? It’s very frustrating to a lot of us, we’d like to play with our returning friends without losing what we’ve built where we are.
It was unlocked, but still wont let players move their toons back on after they were oprhaned off it. They can only pick other servers. Then they have to wait 3 days 12 hours before they can transfer back… That seems a bit broken no?
Unless NW’s own website is wrong.

@Legumi two of my friends picked a new server as they couldn’t directly join Yggdrasil due to the ophaning. They planned to use their free server transfer to move over.
They both have this same timer. Do they have to wait it out or is there something you can do?
In the past, support hasn’t been able to lift that timer.

Unfortunately we do not have any means to delete the timer, if your friends recently transfer they’ll need to wait for the cooldown. Really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. You can check the following reminder on the website below:
Important: To transfer again, you need to purchase an additional token. There’s a 72-hour waiting period before you can transfer the character again.
