Well, this server had 600 population before transfer and balanced faction load.

Players caused this. Lack of self control caused this. We should be capable of recognizing when our fun today endangers our fun tomorrow.

This was happening before the first transfer and merge happened. The mechanism of dominance is broken.

They need a pvp elo score for players that creates an aggregate score for a faction. That needs to factor in on dominance. When a dominant force can switch to a weaker faction enmass to create an even more dominant force this happens.

At least they don’t hide behind shell companies. Gigachad company. EDIT : as I understand this server have like 100 peak player so it’s don’t really matter, they just need to get merged

They played it fair game , all same company so before merger when you guys had more healthy pop you could of double / triple declare so they can’t keep all their territories. It’s just a dead server, nothing to see here lads

Its not about being fair, there is a matter of sportsmanship. Not running up the score. In this case not taking over a whole map because you can.

Also civil war should be a thing. Let players within a faction challenge control without having to be another faction.

Yeah they completely mismanaged (and continue to mismanage) server populations, and it is VERY detrimental to the health of the game. My server was pretty healthy upper 400s with frequent wars, oprs going most of the time (outside of when people sleep), and invasions being won.

Then some of the major companies decided that the grass was greener on a more populated server and poof …… dead server. Now we peak at 150, invasions are steadily degrading all crafting, OPR is non existent, 7 people showed up for a war last night.

Any word from Amazon on the situation? Any dates for a merge? Nope. Radio Silence.

Disagree. If OPR is popping all the time, invasions are successfully defended, and wars are happing daily, the server is healthy.

Honestly the sweet spot for this game is about 800 peak imho. More than that and resources are too rare.

800 peak means there’s nobody to recruit, not enough motivated people to push, not enough GOOD wars and in the end it means that it’s gonna drop to completely dead as soon players get even a little bit tired of never taking EF/WW etc

who gives a shit about resources? we’re 5 months into game, nobody needs mats for anything except rng gambling

I live in a small town in real life and would hate to live in a big city. Maybe you are the opposite?

As long as the core mechanics of the game function, I’m happy with a lower population count.

My server didn’t seem to have problems pushing when it was peaking in the high 400s, and What constitutes a “good” war? Just being close? We had those a plenty too… and some routs.

Not taking EF/WW causing people to quit could happen on any server regardless of population. One of the main problems with this games design is that it’s all on one server. A really good set of pvpers can be hard or impossible to dislodge. It’s why PvP should have been in cross server zones and servers switched up after a period of time. Then at least people know getting their butt beat is temporary :slight_smile:

As far as the resources, we may be 5 months into the game, but the vast majority of people still need them. Not everyone has been able to spend countless hours in game to where their builds are set.

Killed your server maybe. Didn’t kill the game. Look for med-high pop servers and use your transfer token(s).

Nah, AGS designed the game like this. They need to consider better options, IF they want the game to last.

Locking the servers certainly didn’t help, people want to play with their friends. When they split up and lock the damn server I’m sure there’s a lot of people who decided to stop playing.
