Server transfers must stop

Themiscyra server, when we xferred to it, had no queues and was averaging 1500 players a night. Now it is population capped by 6pm and the queue times are approaching 2 hours.

Why would you not stop people from transferring into already overpopulated servers? This is ridiculous.

Same at my current server. You’d think they would cap transfer #'s to avoid que issue?

Meanwhile my Server, and as I read in some threads, some other Servers are dead.

My thread about this

I hope there will be a free Server change week for everyone to rearrange.

Greetings,

Gerry

Very unhappy that we’re back to server queues. Frustrating.

Yea, because everyone is jumping to the full servers as their servers die. The queues on the most populated servers are now as bad or worse than they were at launch. This will continue until transfers to full servers are disabled.

i recently transfered server to a mid population server. i can understand people want to join big server in afraid that the server they transfer to will die one day.

it’s no fun that you cannot get enough 50 for a war, and took 3+ hrs for OPR if lucky

I transferred to a medium-populated server because the server I was on was all but dead.

Sadly, many people have transferred from the ‘new’ server I am on and now this server is dead… I can’t win.

I am worried they will close dead servers, and all characters on them will disappear into thin air.

Nah they will just merge them into other servers. They already tested this in beta. The thing is they do not have time to do merges with all the fixes they have to focus. Which is bad compared to the amounts of servers being underpopulated (below 50%).

The low pop servers are, sorry to say, less of an issue, since a merge will always fix those. The issue I’m trying to raise in this ticket is that people are transferring into servers by the hundreds, when said servers already have large queues.

Look at the trend on Themiscyra, which I’m self servengly using as an example because we’re stuck here.

My wife and I are parents, we have maybe 90-120 minutes of game time a night. We’re now forced to try to guess at when to jump ourselves into the queue such that when our daughter is put down into bed we’re near the top of the queue/logged in, because if we don’t we stare at a queue for 50% of our time. God forbid one of us crashes or gets DC’d as that ends the night completely.
