Server Wipes and Character Resets are DIFFERENT

Right? Why do people think resetting servers will help them?

Resetting a server will only reset the ownership of territories, all factions and also friendships right?

CHARACTER RESETS would be full skill and progress + inventory wipes. That cannot happen or so many people who are actually committed to this game would have a hard time with that and it could hurt more than help.

SERVER RESETS would just reset resource and mob spawn timers + territory and factions

When someone says “we demand a full server wipe” I think they mean character resets. But in that case, just delete your character and start over. No? Kind of seems like a dumb thing to ask for server resets since it doesn’t impact individual character inventories and exploited gold

Basically just ignore anyone asking for a wipe. They are mostly trolls or influenced by trolls.

Yeah, but I think it is impacting newer players to think that’s a good idea. It sucks when trolls take casualties with them.

But is that correct, that server and character wipes would be different?
