U’ve created way to many ‘Legacy’ servers right before and soon after Fresh Start Servers. We all knew that no new player is going to start on Legacy servers if they are not having friends there.
As result more players from Legacy servers started over on Fresh servers.
We have 8 Legacy servers on Europe with big players issue:
-Fae - hardly around 1.100 players online
-Thule and Tupia - still under 1.000 players but maybe those we need as they are FR and DE labelled.
-Niflheim - still under 1.000 players and for sure population wont rise as long Fresh servers are around.
-Caer Sidi - still under 800 players and for sure population wont rise as long Fresh servers are around.
-Jotunheim - still under 500 players and for sure population wont rise as long Fresh servers are around.
-Albraca - still under 500 players and for sure population wont rise as long Fresh servers are around.
-Ishtakar - still under 500 players and for sure population wont rise as long Fresh servers are around.
What’s the point into keeping those servers? Invasions cant be filled up, Wars are not existent, hardly getting OPR or Arena and also no Mutations/Expeditions runs easy to find.
Even on higher population there is almost no mutation activity, just endless chest runs going on. I went out of my way to find people for mutations, adding them, organizing. But still I’ll barely get 1-2 m10s per day. It seems the “end-game” crowd all migrated to fresh start worlds.
That is interesting, I’m observing the same. Everywhere just chest runs and mostly fresh players for M10 that doesn’t know how to play. Looks like most good PVE players left game. Nowadays I’m happy if I get player that simply doesn’t die, I don’t care anymore if they are heavy or light, because of how small M10 playerbase is. I’ve forced myself to tank so I can lead those newbies better, I’d like to dps, but those tanks dude…
Yes, but Legacy servers got so ‘demonized’ that no new player want to start there.
New players going Fresh servers and also Legacy players going Fresh servers only cuz their Legacy servers are ‘dead’ in activity.
Amazon need to do something right now, not 1 month later.
Actually Fae server has new players, the problem is the system.
There is no cross server matchmaking for dungeons, mutations and arena.Which means those new players cant progress if they dont get help from veterans. If there was a cross server matchmaking those new players would find dungeons.
There is also a limit for mutations which is 25,a veteran is facing a problem there, either helping to new players which can progress to 625 gear score or doing m10. not many people would skip m10 for helping m1,m2.
This is the main problem in new world. If new players cant progress they will end up quitting soon enough.
Cross server or not, there is no point keeping so many servers with under half server capacity.
The only reason would be to boost ego of specific companies for holding territories.
But I’d personally love to stay with no territory but having wars everyday or at least 2 per week.
A mod responded to this issue, they are waiting if veterans would comeback to legacy servers or not. Which is another problem, people are moving to fresh and those who is staying in legacy server has to wait if those people comeback or not. Its not a good idea to wait those tbh even tho I understand that ags doesnt want to rush if people coming back merge will do more damage.
This is at least in my legacy server but daily craftables also plummeting. Glittering ebony only 148, while iron plankwood 25, making crafting it a huge loss.
I understand waiting for big old servers like Dry Tree, Barri, Abaton, etc.
But holding those servers that never reached 500-1000 players online its no point. Its like gold mine for bots and gold sellers.
I’m assuming they are waiting until players transfer off of fresh start to see how it balances out. And when the return to aeternum is over and sorted out and the players return.
Your assumption being that those of us on the lower pop servers want off?
I am on Albraca, I moved from Nyssa . I knew it was going to be a lower pop server and that was my choice as it was for most of my Company.
I was on Bifrost when it had 100 max pop and was very happy there. It had a great community vibe. Got merged(no choice) into TNN and despite the initial language issues was happy on that server.
Then got merged (no choice) into Nyssa.
I did not like being on Nyssa, everything was camped, there were people literally camping small Wyrdwood patches. The community was less than great, most disorganised chest runs i have ever seen in 13 months of playing.
I HAVE CHOSEN TO BE ON A LOW POP SERVER, I do not want to be merged yet again.
BTW there are plenty of fresh starters on this server, many have started just in the last week or so.
The only reason would be to boost ego of specific companies for holding territories.
But I’d personally love to stay with no territory but having wars everyday or at least 2 per week.

na these server are prob very pve orientated and don’t wars and that the way they like it peaceful like it was before the last merges happened don’t force other that don’t want high populated servers. if the server has 1 or 2 t5 benches at 1 time then that fine that the way they run the server people gather on a server as a whole are more than capable of keeping it alive no problem that a server about everyone helping everyone not just the .5% greedy doing nothing profiting and don’t say oh the taxes because that a joke a guild of 30 can make 45 k easily by running 2 or 3 dungeons that entire week to pay for the Territory up-keep for the week it a joke how they complaint they can pay for their taxes when they just don’t want to do anything in the first place
