I feel like the Faction Caches at the settlements are underwhelming, especially as a level 60 player with 200+ Mining level. Take Morningdale for example, all I get is some iron and basic sand flux, it should give you better mats based on your level. I’m not using sand flux anymore, and I doubt many are either.
Let’s say,
- Lvl 1-30 and Mining lvl 0-100 gets what we get now, Iron and Sand Flux
- Lvl 30-50 and Mining lvl 100-200 gets slightly more Iron Ore, Shelldust Flux OR a rare chance at getting 6-12 Starmetal Ore as well as 2-4 Azurite/Blessed Crucible. If Starmetal is received, you will not get Iron Ore.
- Lvl 60+ and Mining 200+ gets more Iron Ore, Obsidian Flux OR a very rare chance at 4-12 Orc Ore as well as 1-3 Tolvium/Cinnabar (not both). If Orc is received, you will not get Iron Ore. Note you can still get the chance for Iron/Starmetal, Azurite/Blessed as well.
The rarity chance could either be RNG or Trophies and higher Mining/Aptitude lvl can increase the chance (but a very low increase in chance). This would be the same for other Caches. Now if the T5 Mats prove to be too much each day, then either make it a “chance” basis on getting just Shelldust/Obsidian Flux if levels are met, or lower the amount of Shelldust/Obsidian received. Also the Tolv/Cinnabar/Azurite/Blessed could be scrapped if that’s too much of a reward and may hamper markets. Just thought it would help the crafters.
While I understand it’s free and can be taken each day, I haven’t had much interest in collecting them even though they are a reward for owning the territory. They should receive some type of Buff but nothing major so it doesn’t offset the markets.
Just an idea ![]()
