Settlement War players taking almost no damage

do you guys actually just use the highest gear score items you can instead of items with actual good perks and stats?

You guys have one job and thats basically watch your streamer. It was Weaver’s Fen siege and you were against HTA. On defence, there were 3-4 different guilds. So, Grimmz were not against only SUN army. Check your facts.

We never lost any point on Windsward against any Syndicate guild.

So you are saying player near 600 GS Heavy armor getting 5.6k damage from Fire Staff/ Ice gauntlet + Light armor and he is hittin to him 130 and you think its legit ?. I guess you are one of the ppl who is abusing the bug and dont want to get banned.

You guys can’t even watch your streamer clearly. Those guys weren’t mages ffs. They are Great Axe - Heavy Armor bruisers with 250 CON.

Ask your streamer how he was able to hit more then most of str-focused melees with that 300 con build. Maybe he will explain it to you.

Not as visible as an ‘aura shield’ displaying in front of the character.

I mean, I use Sword and Shield, and sometimes when in the ‘thick of it’. I can’t even tell if I’m blocking even though I have the Defensive Formation perk. So even a swirling array of shields is easily masked by all the disco lights and rockstar pyrotechnics going off on screen.

As for why the other side can’t replicate it.

Probably build. The fact they take damage indicates it’s not an invulnerability exploit. The “take less/do more damage per enemy in area” passive perks that would slowly scale up instead of resetting as enemies left the detection range of the perk was supposedly fixed.

((I’ve also noticed that the Battle Bread buff remains on me even after I re-zone into the settlement after an Outpost Rush. It could be that…that’d be an additional 15% reduction (and 15% increase) in damage.))

I’d say it’s probably Void Armor (highest armor value I believe in the game atm?) + Pristine Onyx in all “armor type” slots + 100% uptime Fortifies + [bugged] Resilient (reducing the entire damage tick of a critical hit) + Damage Reduction passive perks (ie Warhammer’s Outnumbered perk).

…from watching Spiffing Brit break games that use percentage based systems. A lot of times devs will make one multiplicative while making others additive. The result is stacking makes you damn near god-like; damage-wise, tanking-wise, or both.

And even if it’s all multiplicative if they accidently moved the decimal. Or they could have put the wrong math sign (like a minus instead of a plus) then you get into negative numbers and that almost always results in insane results (ie one-shot hits, solo tanking a raid boss, etc).

In short. This game is broken. We are in early [paid] Beta.

well i see alot of you running full voidbent in wars. even after it was nerfed but especially before it was nerfed many had 5 pieces

max ppl had 2 piece and thats the max :smiley: ofc 1 or 2 player did use full set but not all the ppl in siege.

Dont worry after patch u guys will find out new thing to cry. I just watched whole brightwood war and checked grimz damages and everything is normal.

Taking all that posivity from you guys. Keep that up all the good blamings, accusings and threats :slight_smile: We need more content like this to see our rivals’ behaviour

i cant wait for the patch

This is happening in all servers, in ANU, I always played with pvp on and fighted with many others players, I usually hit 1400 to 2400 crits with firestaff to players in open world, depending if they are heavy or light armour, yesterday I joined outpost rush for the first time and realized that I was hitting between 400 and 600 crit damage to many guys and not just the first hit, all of my hits were doing that damage, the fun fact here is they hit me around 1800 and 2600 with great axe and I was full heavy armour. If devs intended this with the gear difference between 550 and 600 this game will die pretty soon, and just those who reads “the bugs” and use them in their favour will play this game, hope devs fix this soon.
