Share Inventory in Company

Build a new function of share inventory in company, so that the members in the company can store resources there and let the crafter use it.
Since people in the company are from different countries in the world. They may in different time zone, so building the share inventory can let members grab the resources whenever they online.

This is an interesting idea… and it sounds a lot like the guild bank from GW2, or even the quartermaster, or whatever it’s called, who accepts donations for projects the guild starts.

A company shed needs to be added asap

And i also suggest that company can use materials to upgrade their company storage house. More they donate bigger the storage space. And me myself, i wish it needs to use glittering ebony to upgrade the inventory.
It makes sense to use wood to build a storage house. And the ebony price is cheap now. Third reason is i have a lot of that :slight_smile:

Oooh, this is an interesting idea! A few questions so I make sure I’m sending detailed feedback that the developers can use to make the game more enjoyable.

How would you implement this and where?
How would having this feature improve your gameplay compared to how the gameplay is now without it?

Oh you mean a guild bank?

Wow. What a novel concept.

Might as well add a Ledger to the treasury so you can see deposits / withdrawals too.

Would also be nice to sort Guild Members by level and last equipped weapons.

Novel, new and interesting concepts in the world of MMOs in 2022.

How to implement and where:

  1. Make it as a function in Company (You can find the share inventory when press G in the Company interface)
  2. Make a new function in existing storage in every town, players can switch which storage they want to store the items, own storage or company storage.
  3. The restaurant (bar?) in New World is beautiful but they have no function. Im thinking you may add this share inventory function to the restaurant (Just dont want to waste the nice building)
  4. Players can store their resources into the company storage so that the other company members can use it.

Further advise for how it works:

  1. Make the storage function upgrade-able. Members can donate certain amount of resources to upgrade the storage so that it can store more items.
  2. Authority can be set that who can put things in, pull things out, quantity members can get from the storage, and even what kind of resources can be stored
  3. (It may more likely to be a company internal trading function) Member who put resources into the share inventory can set who can pull it out. (Member may want to ask a crafter to craft something but they hardly meet each other because they are in different time zone)

on the shed interface you can change to the company shed. I think there should be a set size. There should be withdrawl and deposit limits for each category. Also why dont you have the ranks in guilds changable? or to where we can add more.

I have wondered why there isn’t a Company house with a shared storage in which you can set privilege to access it based on your position in the company.
