Shell Company Rant With Potential Solution!

When you look at servers that had super companies transfer into them and dominate the server until it becomes baron, what commonalities are noticed?

They’re able to slot infinitely into every war available (less those on the same timeslot). This vastly limits the majority of the player base from actively competing in a large aspect of the game. What point is it to push a territory against a company, and even potentially pushing two territories (when that SAME company owns it, except under a shell) just to have to fight against the same roster again? The outcome is inevitable, the experience difference in unfathomable, the gear difference is astronomical. These companies that move from server to server are effectively killing the game, and, they’re wholly aware of it.

A common rebuttal is “why should successful players be punished?” but it is not a punishment! It is a decision that YOU as a “successful” player make - to choose your wars wisely.

This allows for others to play the game in its entirety, prevents these large super companies from dominating the map, AND promotes server health.

Let’s break it down: if each player can participate in 2 wars per day (whether it’s offensive or defensive, a combination of either) that limits the amount of people that can repetitively show up in wars, thus, allowing for a more diverse war roster. This can allow for more satisfaction from the player base.

This can prevent super companies from dominating the map: If you are limiting their players to 2 wars per day they must thoughtfully decide where they want to defend or attack - rather than “ok after this war I’ll sign up and defend (or attack) the other and the other” so on and so forth. The demoralization from the general population of the server is high, as evidenced by the amount of “dead” servers after being invaded by these super companies. Some can be noted such as Orun, Pluto, Maramma (in the process of) and Eden.

As far as promoting server health: we can refer back to the aforementioned → it is overall better for the server knowing that there is a LIMIT to how many “same” players can partake in different wars, allowing for others to experience this wonderful experience of war. It prevents the likelihood of said super companies from over running the server. It will allow for longevity of a server preventing further merges from happening.

However, I believe that is only a start. There are many others that still need to be addressed, such as shell companies and their existence at all.

But, I do think this truly can be a start that will definitely help with promoting server health and player satisfaction.

If you have any suggestions or feedback it is wholeheartedly welcomed, please keep all negativity away from this post.
