
I think it’s a unique ability but underwhelming in my opinion. I think It’ll be cool to have this ability as a melee whip instead, or maybe something else in mind! I really like the weakening debuff (enemies will do less damage) it offers tho. I can tell specific heavy-hitting attacks from bosses will leave certain teammates of mine alive sorta like a clutch if they just so happen to get hit.

YES PLS, it has a poor hitbox and does not match with right skill tree side - decay side is more like ranged and this skill is low range and make you stay close from your enemy.
It needs a rework, not a buff.
Major problems are:
- Poor hit box
- Low damage (yes it actually does damage)
- Does not match with Decay Skill tree
Suggestion:
- Rework it to bounce into enemies, tying them and applying debuffs as long they stay close to each other
- Increase hitbox
- Slight increase range
- Increase damage by making it apply dot or apply Disintegrate
btw I’ve also made suggestions on this before and never received any feedback. They just forgot about Baleful Tether.

Make it an AOE skill that tethers all or a certain amount of targets in range.

also, a good suggestion. problem would solve the hitbox issue.
