It’s view only until you transfer materials across towns that are owned by your faction, and you have to pay to transfer. OP is talking about a complete link like transferring materials across all towns for free, ignoring faction control.

what they should do is link all the storages and let the governor set a tax rate on transport. If the two territories are owned by the same faction then you get no tax. But if they’re owned by different factions then there is a small flat tax set by the governor

The fee kind of deletes this feature for me anyway.
I’m not gonna pay 200 gold to transfer items that aren’t worth 200 gold. With linked AH u can just buy those items for that much gold…
They should use time or azoth as currency for it instead.

I mean if you wanna pay 300 gold to move 200 tannin/flux/solvent/etc you go right ahead. The transfer costs make zero sense if you consider these “linked”.

YES! Or just give us ginormous bins or do what Rift did and charge beyond a certain capacity.
A tips, if you want to transfer large item for cheaper list them on trading post at higher price so they don’t sell go to the town you want item to be transferred and cancel them at that town.
