After Fresh Start servers release, There’s no doubt there’s a thrill in starting anew, becoming the first to reach 60, to master the art of a weapon, to craft something for the first time, be the first one to mine starmetal and orichalcum, be the first to conquer Everfall!
I love the contest around it.
Let’s put a side the fact that most people waited for a fresh start, due to “legacy” ones still suffering from the days where dupes and exploits lead to unfair advantage of some players.
I think the game itself has so much to offer in lower levels, which is being lost somewhere in the late game content.
Why should so much effort pay off for only a few minutes when you’re rushing your way to 60?
Repeating the experience can lead to people discover new thing when revisiting some areas.
