well with 40 stam costs as light u have almost 3 iframes there ( medium only 30 costs = 4 iframes )
on top riposte + fleche there u get ur next 2 - 3sec immortality
and then the next iframe chain, which u can extend by evade.
after that ur skills are almost back up…
oh and forgot shirking fortification and Energy in here…
Yeah shirking energy was a mistake that they need to fix. There’s also that necklace? perk that gives you like 98 stamina if you drop below 50% health.
If anything, those should be only if you have heavy armor. Doesn’t make sense that light armor needs so much stamina.
Heavy has 2-3 dodges with hearty… but they can’t get shirking energy. With how it is currently, there is no way for a heavy melee player to actually land a hit on light armor with shirking energy. Not to mention light dodges create a significant gap where the heavy guy basically ducks in place.
So many constant cries for nerfs. The specifics are all Tl:Dr to me but if the devs actually answered every call for a nerf we would all be in a pillow fight.
Not exactly. Fortify tends to blur the lines on armor to the point a light can be just as protective as medium armor + Iframe dodges + Shirking Energy + 20% damage bonus.
We wouldn’t be in a pillow fight because as soon as one of em dies it’ll be “NERF PILLOWS”, “PILLOWS ARE OP NERF” “Pillows are broken” posts everywhere.
Throwing this out there but another way they could improve how stats are actually used would be to scale them to the weapon.
For instance:
Fleche’s distance and damage is dependent on the amount of DEX that you have attributed to you. So if you have lower DEX then you don’t travel as far with it. You can still use it with no DEX but it won’t go any distance at all.
That might be a weird example as one would say why use Fleche without running DEX? Mages/healers would not be able to just equip a rapier as a escape mechanism without it being way less effective or force them to use more DEX and being less effective on their mage DPS AND the DEX DPS however maintaining the utility of both weapons.
That example could be a STR or INT ability doesn’t matter. The ability to apply almost no CON into a build, use utility of a weapon you aren’t built into much, and still receive no negative is a large mistake IMO
