It’s not a bug, but I do agree, they should warn us about the quest line upon the salvaging.

It is a bug. They are quest items that aren’t flagged as quest items. I already spoke to someone who confirmed that they are aware of the issue and working on a fix.

so what do we do if we deleted a quest item? just wait?

I guess. I heard secondhand that some people got the problem resolved, but I’m unclear how. If you know anyone who had this fixed firsthand who can tell you how, try what they recommend. Otherwise…

I also salvaged part of that gear 'cause it did not have the quest item-logo on it…
I have no clue if creating that gear is part of another quest, but I’ll definitely save whatever I have left from it.

Is there any word on how they’re gonna fix this?

I salvaged 2 pieces also, sent in a ticket explaining the whole quest thing and the rep said “Items that were salvaged can’t be recovered at this time” unfortunate, my OCD is killing me right now.

Let me know how it goes. I just a ticket now as well… this is frustrating…
