Doing side quest called infernal armaments which gets you to kill certain enemies. Rustheart mercenary enemy I have killed 50 plus of them and only got 1/2 so the game is not recognising the kills. Therefore I can not complete this quest.

Same thing for me, stuck on 1/2 as well
Did you wander into the adjacent Mine by chance? I’d been killing mercenaries there - had realized I’d left the Iron Fields. Went back, killed the one mercenary there again and completed it.
