Siege windows vs EU maintenance windows

As a company we wanted to get our neighbor location - Cutlass Keys, since it has buildings we need and our own city buildings are bugged. We started building influence on Sunday, running all the way from the north end where the city is to the south island, which is about 15 minute walk if there is no resistance of the opposing factions. For nearly 5 hours 3 companies of our faction were doing those quests killing every player of the opposing faction, finally built it, but no one was able to declare war since the territory was mistakenly considered of being invaded. 5 hours of time spent of nearly 60 people was wasted and we had to build the influence from scratch on Monday, and when we did the bug was still there, blocking the war declaration. Fortunately the invasion actually did proc before the time to declare war was over, and we managed to declare it after the invasion. Our company was selected as the one for siege, and the fight should have happened today at 6PM CET. As we all know by now this is not happening because maintenance window is overlapping the siege window for EU, which is ridiculous, and tomorrow we’ll have to build influence from scratch for the third time to have a chance to get the territory we should have had for 2 days already.

Maintenance windows for EU should be moved far away from region prime times and hotfixes should really be prioritized over the most changes we see in the changelog since they are breaking the game mechanics.

Hello! Our siege is also getting cancelled due to maintenance overlapping it. I could deal with this in the preview and beta, but it’s getting a bit annoying wasting massive amounts of money and time for no reason at all when the game is post-release. :upside_down_face:

This is actually a very frustrating experience. I hope for any feedback from the developers and steps taken to prevent this from happening again. For example, you can not cancel the siege, but shift them one day ahead. And it also upsets me very much that any calls to the developers, unfortunately, seem to fly away into a black hole, with no hope of return.
