Simple solutions for the worst patch mistakes

PVP Loot Bonus
Make it so the loot bonus doesn’t stack with the loot gear. PVP players still have the advantage of not having to carry gather luck gear around and will have a much easier time killing mobs with their normal gear.

Watermark
Revert the changes to chests and NPC untill you have a real system to increase the watermark level. Recommendation: each win in the Outpost Rush increases the Watermark level by 1 iLvL. Improve PvP participation at the same time. But at the same time leave the chests and elite farming as it is. If people like it this ways let them do it…

Professions
Revert the requirements as they were before. I understand the thoughts behind this change but it is too late to do it now and not fair for casual players / new players. If you want them to craft higher tier items, just increase the XP of these so its worth do so for leveling. The problem will solve itself anyways once people reach level 200 as they only want to craft high tier items afterwards anyways.

Weapon changes
Generally buff the weapons that feel underwhelming and dont nerf weapons.

Firestaff
Revert the passive changes, keep the skill changes. Nobody cared that the attacks did a lot of damage compared to the skills.

Ice Gauntlet
Keep the cooldown increase on Ice Shower, make it so you can’t jump out of it. Remove the damage from Ice Tomb, else revert it as it was.

Bow
Revert the changes such as the gameplay feels fluent again

New Content
Stop focusing on making the current content more grindy as it already is. This wont keep players in the game. This is not a subscription model so it’s okay if people feel they want to take a break after achieving most goals of the current content. Focus on providing new content and keeping them happy so they will come back once you release new stuff.

I also want whatever was added in 1.0.4 that started the rubberbanding and lag spikes removed to make the game fully playable again.

Suggestion:
Remove luck, let RNG be RNG and not gated by some gear status.

Also make gearscore relevant in pvp since there is no real reason to farm at all if you prefer pvp over pve.

fun fact:

ZERO of the BIS drops that PvE player have available are obtainable through PvP.

if what PvE people really want is a fair game lets be perfectly clear, that would involve a LOT more rewards for being PvP flagged.

stop crying unless you are willing to have AGS remove some of the rewards you can get and move them to pvp only activities.

I see your point I think there should be PvP based rewards like skins or armor with PvP oriented perks on it only obtainable through PvP and I think most PvE oriented players don’t have a problem with this. As well as gatherer specific items which should only be obtainable through PvE activities.

By removing the stacking bonus of the PvP buff there is still a very strong incentive to turn it on as you can run with you normal armor and don’t have to change sets based on the node you are gathering and are faster killing animals for skinning.

It would create a spot where the PvE player doesn’t need to feel punished for not turning on PvP as he can get the same amount of luck with a certain set, and at the same time, the PvP player would not feel punished for running around flagged and not wearing a gatherer set.

Respect of wanting to play a certain way should go in both directions :slight_smile:

agree. I like that they at least try to do something for the open world PvP but also agree that they should give PvP reward to PvP mode. currently it is much better for both players to avoid fighting when doing PvE activity while being flag (unless it is an ori node :slight_smile: ). PvP need a sense of progression as much as PvE. why not giving gold or special pvp token when killing player? the current rewards are a joke: mostly useless faction points and a small % of chance to loot a shitty random gear.
