Since everyone complained that healing was too strong and AGS decided to nerf healing to the ground and then put in a “heals cannot be stacked” why not have it where the person with the highest attribute does the dmg…… if heals can’t stack why should dps be any different…

Correct me if im wrong, but AoE heals and DoTs cant stack. I know ice storm doesnt stack, not sure about meteor shower or others. It is obviously not a good idea to limit dps to one person in a group so i dont know why you brought it up unless you just want to be passive aggressive without giving constructive criticism or ideas on how to better implement AoE heals. The “if i cant have fun no one can” mentality aint the way to get people on your side.

Wait they nerfed heals? Dang didn’t even notice only thing I saw was you can’t put bacon on your self now. What else changed?

All healing percentages were reduced.

Oh damn. Well whenever I respect to heal I do it with gear and stats that made me way overheal as it was so probably didn’t even notice.

No it’s not a if I can’t have fun no one can type of deal… it’s more of I can barely heal someone in a 2v2 situation if the other two is DPS… not to mention if they have a VG and using diesease I definitely can’t out heal the dmg… I’m also 400+ FOC… Maybe they need to add something like if u heal someone with lights embrace it also removes a random debuff or something like that….

They nerfed healing in Different armor… and also nerfed the percentage of healing itself… AND now they added diesease when further reduces healing

I think we’ve all noticed that your limited experience engaging with meaningful aspects of the game (e.g. main story, Dynasty, Lazarus, Genesis, crafting etc…) as evidence by your posts invalidates your opinions.

AOE damage over time doesn’t stack either does it?

The issue here is the method AGS decided to go for with healing. AOE floor plant heals over time that are capable of sustaining health versus huge damage are bad for generally anything except for PVE.

They are also horrible for PVE. And the reason for such a janky heal system? The janky combat healing system.

Have you tried using their targeted healing bs? Literally the most atrocious thing in the world.

I do agree with the second part (and yes I have). The first part though… I just think for PVE it works OK enough and certainly isn’t game breaking.

But yes, you’re right. The issue with healing in this game in general is it’s always instant (no cast timers) and so can be done on the move, cannot be interrupted and the healer almost never has to choose between healing themselves and others. They can do both almost all of the time.

It just doesn’t work in PVP. The only counter (short of having your own healer that does the same) is to have 5+ players focus CC the healer so they cannot move or escape and still muster enough damage to also counter their healing. Any less than 5 and you’re probably going to just have a “fun” little chase about the OPR capture point while they mock you.

And this is still assuming the daft scenario that it’s 5v1 and not 5v5. The other 4 opponents will easily stop you doing any of this.

I’ll say it again, having a PVX game where PVE and PVP stats/skills/meta are not separated can never work unless the PVE has mobs that are the same as players.
