Since I started playing my Backpack space has increased 155%, my bank space is up 10%

Does this seem backwards to anyone else? I think the bank space increases are much too small considering the are a million different mats, and most a quite heavy. A few more good bags and I will be able to carry more than I can store. Bankspace should be 3000 to 5000 by default, and minimum upgrades should be ~250.

You buy a house and it can essentially double with t1 chests in a 30 rep/10k house. More with higher lvl chests. I mean id rather it be up a bit by default but meh.

Yeah it absolutely is and probably intentional.

I was hoping for houses to add even more storage but no one wants to spend that much time leveling furnishing. Especially alchemical ingredients are really heavy and of course with the weird progression: You need Tier 2 to create Tier 3 materials, and Tier 3 for Tier 4. It is natural to hoard and even with farming 1k Iron Ingots, I am not where near enough to bring smithing, armor smithing and engineering to 100. Yet I need to store it somewhere, then also lumber and hides and boom the storage is full. Also since there is no T4 Furnance in your city, you gotta pack it all and then spend hundreds of Azoth to travel there and back.

I think it is kept low intentionally to encourage Azoth spending ( lots of it ). Unless you are a Marauder and your faction controls the two city, easy access to more storage is pretty much non existent.

Things like storage space and fast travel restrictions are the kinds of things that make people quit games. If they tell you to hoard mats, then won’t let you hoard them, you find something else to play. To this day one of the main reason I won’t play No Mans Sky is because the material storage system is the worst I have ever seen in my life.
