Siphoning needs a major buff in my opinion. I saw siphoning roll on a ring I crafted and thought hm this may be ok as I am a mage and especially with void gauntlet high mana cost I run out of mana very quick so this 2.8% mana per hit may be useful. Just to find out that I only get that 2.8% mana once every 10 seconds… what a useless perk.
To compare it with a similar perk, leeching for example gives 5% of damage back as health every hit with no cooldown which is way better in comparison to only getting 3 mana every 10 seconds. This perk needs a serious buff to be of any value. Removing the cooldown entirely will only make it an ok perk, not even an amazing perk. How it is now… awful perk. Please consider buffing this perk to make it more useful and balanced.
100% agree that this should have no cooldown, many of the Magical Weapon already have passives that do something similiar with no cooldown.
If the Siphoning perk has no cooldown, it would opponent up new builds in some of those magical weapons as you would not have to take the in tree passives, and can dive into the lesser used tree.
95% of the perks need a good long look and balance pass…far too many are moronic in balance while others are too much (not many for sure).
yeah basicly siphoning as a base plate. 3 mana over 10 seconds…why? only a few items even use mana and have far far better mana restore that this doesnt even touch. the on kill one the same way. dodge roll for .9% cooldown reduction…sooo 100 rolls to full cooldown yeah sound good…increase burn/poison/bleed/speed/fort/empower DURATION…not damage…duration and at such a low value or any of them worth a % of real damage? at best they add a fraction of a second…why even add it to the game?
