Skinning Disminishing returns

if I may, can I please have an AGS employee verify if AGS did a ghost patch on how much you get for skinning mobs back to back. I’m skinning Bison and the first Bison gave me 41 hide, the second one I skinned immediately after only gave me 25 and shortly after finding another I got 30 hide from the third Bison.

I waited a bit before killing a fourth Bison and it gave me the normal 40 area. I can repeat this diminishing returns effect every single time. So can I please get someone to verify this for me from AGS, Thanks!

I’m not upset or mad by this decision, what the good portion of the community is pissed off about is that AGS refuses to communicate. This is a very slippery slope. Trust is huge.

RNG. Random number generation. You dont always get the same amount of loot. you proved yourself that its random. 41 25 30 40

Its not RNG. It’s based off a timer for diminishing returns. That’s two posts now that you don’t know what you’re talking about.

If I kill three Bison all in a row and skin them, the first will yield 40ish, second 25 and third 25.

If I kill three Bison all in a row, skin them with the third staggered I get 40, 25, 30ish.

If I kill three Bison all in a row, skin them all staggered I get 40 on all of them.

If I kill ten Bison and skin them all in a row, I get 40, 25, 25, 25, 25, 25, 25, 25, 25, 25.

I’ve just spent the last 2 hours farming leather while testing this.

This is called diminishing returns.
