I have the same problem

My mate experienced the same. But it was bugged and somehow returned. I dont know what he did to make it visible again.

After the big patch I tried to equip a bow and I thought I lost it. But only the icon got invisible. Have you tried skinning and it didn’t work?

try fix all its happend to my mining tool its was broken

ok so i just relogged the game and it appeared back in the slot. no i wasnt able to skin when the knife ‘disappeared’ so everytime i have to relog and hope no mobs attack my sleeping body

I was skinning boars in MD, then got no knife equipped and it was gone. went back to town did a couple town projects and now it’s back.

I repaired my sickle when this happened and it magically reappeared. It sounds crazy but it worked for me lol
