SNS has zero fluidity

After the SNS nerf, you could still shield rush into shield bash…a much harder thing to pull off. Idk when it changed, but you can’t do this anymore(unless you’re in heavy I think?) At least I couldn’t do it in testing.

Why do all other weapons have smooth animation cancels and combos but SNS can’t?

A few I can think of:

Powder burn>dodge>stopping power(or normal shot)

Any combination of GA/WH skills

Lunge canceling(most melee weapons)

All 4 bow animation cancels (light(or heavy) + poison/explosive/pen/rapid

Various berserk animation cancels(there’s like 4 of them)

Rapier has built in animation cancels(evade)

Normal shot + shrapnel

VG/IG basically has the same level of synergy as WH/GA

Firestaff doesn’t exactly “combo” with anything, but it does have very good synergy with rapier and IG.

SNS is purely for blocking and damage reduction. It doesn’t really have synergy with anything outside of a PvE tanking role. Needs a rework or some kind of ability to combo its own attacks or perform some kind of animation cancels like every other weapons does.
