Maybe this is why cheaters and bots keep coming back, maybe this should be first priority.
Family sharing is already disabled. This entire article is false and out of date.
[DROPS] HATCHET & GS PVP MAIN
BIG STREAM ON SATURDAY !build - Twitch
starting at 3 hours 57 minutes and 30 seconds and it looks like family sharing to me but might be wrong.
I’m genuinely unsure what they are talking about here, but it sounds like account sharing, which is also against the rules. Family sharing is 100% disabled though. That article is from October 2021 and is no longer correct.
well you replied way to fast to me so you havent watched the video long enough to say.
I watched two minutes of the video and read the chat. They were talking about account sharing (against the rules) not family sharing as referenced in the article. Feel free to let me know what I got wrong.
To be honest i am not sure myself whats going on there but they also are talking about another streamer called def_metal that does the same on stream. I dont want to get Ulfhednar in any trouble since he is a nice guy but was just curious whats going on there. If you watch longer you might get more informations but still not sure.
outdated article this was fixed 11 Nov 21
there obviously doing the account sharing thing, if it was never fixed, then the bug is still relevant, which i would like to know if it was fixed or not, don’t need fake new people talking for the devs, i wanna know we have a solid game that’s safe to play.
P.s how long have we waited for simple heal circles or aoe’s to be different colours? these are basic qol’s ask for over a year just a example. Also many other games have had issues where people can get around there bans, so ya i wanna know.
Family sharing is disabled and was quickly fixed. The bug referenced in the article simply doesn’t exist anymore.
Account sharing is an entirely separate thing that is against the rules and may be actioned against and not referenced in the article.
… ok! good luck!
Family sharing was disabled months ago. They gave us a free key to split our accounts off the family share. That article was written last month. I’d ignore that site from now on.
2021, but yeah.
They allowed early adopters to keep using Family Sharing via individual requests, besides that it‘s generally turned off and has been for a long time.
Just clarifying that there are people out there being able to use Family Sharing, but it‘s probably only in the hundreds at max.
I’m fairly sure they did that through keys sent out to those users, since I’m fairly sure it’s an off or on thing through Steam.
Honestly not sure exactly how it works or how they did it and even if there are a few people out there being able to use it, it‘s still fairly irrelevant to the article anyways as it‘s not accessible for general use anymore.
Ah my bad, thank you. I was looking at the embed which is giving the original published date.
