So... crafting changes keeping EXP or level?

All this change does is reward the people that rushed to 200. They’ll be able to craft and have the market to themselves for a much longer time then the way things were going before the change.

But they haven’t made any indication of what they’re doing right? So technically, that might not be true

Your assumption is incorrect. They are not reducing anyone’s level. Low tier items will become less efficient at higher skill levels. This only affects crafting going forward.

They also specifically stated that the overall effort to reach 200 would be the same. While the higher levels require more experience, higher tier items also give more experience.

Just get your refining to 200. And refine your daily 10x epic mats for each refiner. Save those mats or sell it. Then go watermark grind. Get those high GS drops and occasional 600gs drop. They will likely be shit, but so are the ones you crafted on your own. At least elite farm is free and crafting cost a shit ton. Watermark farm will make u money. For example a 5% gathering luck equip can easily sell for couple hundred. Meanwhile it will cost a shit ton to craft your own 5% gathering luck equip. The only thing worth crafting are jewelry because jewelry are harder to get high watermark on. But then even high GS jewelry crafting are not worth it anymore because it is becoming too competitive. You’d probably make more money crafting low tier jewelry.

The effort is actually harder if you do the math not the same. Crafting was already very time consuming now it’s worse. I will take some time off and play BF 2042 and wow again. I will not play until the crafting is sorted back. Running simulator plus crafting is just a mind numbing time sink. Enemies with no cool downs on skills. Azoth is garbage always running out to try to save time horrible time sink. Run from one village to the next 30 minutes of just running lol not even actually enjoying the game.

Yes you are now going to have to burn through tons of resources, to craft more expensive worthless items, you will immediately salvage for a few ingots if you are lucky.

I did the math, you are wrong. Exp scaling is not linear.
Crafting a high tier item at 150 will yield much more relative exp. Only at 199-200 it will be the same, which results in “more” work for one or maybe even two levels because you have to farm different resources. The amount of time farming doesn’t change.

I guess this is how they have chosen to deal with the absolutely over saturated resource buyers market? Since ressource production is so explosively high there needs to be a corresponding higher consumption.

Because ori is that expensive? Yeah… Right. Even before the patch is was a valid route to reach 200.

This isn’t WoW, it’s not supposed to be easy.

This change makes the already ridiculous amount of farming to a new level. I guess they want this game to become a niche game, will most definitely lose more players. It already takes insane amount of farming to level up a little bit. Well done

@ZincD I couldn’t agree more, you hit the nail on the head.

Dumb change, only put into play to increase hours played after lvl 60. Only players who benefit are already at max and will get to hold their monopoly even longer. Between the 30% pvp bonus and the MASSIVE crafting nerf new players get the shaft double. Shady move from a shady company.

its not ori thats expensive… its the flux to make it that runs out super quickly. I have more materials than i could ever get flux for in a day.

Yeah flux is a pain to get, this game was fun while it lasted.

It will take 1.5 times more xp and the higher level tier items are harder to get so your wrong 100%. Leveling crafting is now more tedious and time consuming. You are not taking into account the higher tier items and how they take even more grinding to get them.

Again, only for you:

You need 4 times more exp for the exp cap (=200) and t5 crafting yields 4 times more exp.
You need 3 times more exp for level 150 and t4 crafting yields 3 times more exp.
You need 2 times more exp for level 100 and t3 crafting yields 2 times more exp.
You need the same exp for level 50 and t2 crafting yields the same exp.

At 151 you only need about 3.1 times more exp to level up, but you have access to t5 crafting which is yielding 4 times more exp. Crafting is easier after the patch, even if you have to collect different resources.

…and before the patch, for example armoring was easier to level with infused leather at 150-200, now with more relative exp its even faster.

Please go back to wow and enjoy the awesome crafting there. Maybe their system suits you better. If you struggle with simplest math, please don’t post bs on forums.

No worries my friend the pop is on the decline enjoy. We have a name for it usually called fan bois that can’t take real criticism that helps create change in positive ways. Look at the numbers they visible to everyone and you alone can’t purchase enough in shop items to keep servers going. Content only comes out if enough people buy and if there are only a handful of people playing you get no new content unless you can personally spend millions on the shop. You should be more open to others ideas.

Its still easy. Just time consuming. Still easy
