So, there are quite a few people who abused Steam’s family share. I don’t fault them, but they used it in a way that it’s not intended to be used. Now these people are getting free copies of the game (and who knows how many exploiters are now receiving free copies as well).
I legitimately bought two copies of this game when I could have easily abused this feature as well (one for me, one for my girlfriend). And due to how broken the end-game state is now due to all the exploits and bugs, we have no desire to play because it’s completely unfair to legitimate players that all the exploited gold and items will never be fully recovered and tons of people are getting away with exploiting.
So now I have to see people who abused family share getting FREE copies through Steam?
I really hope someone will finally reach out to me and help me get a refund for this game through Steam. This is unacceptable.
i mean without even reading: your comparing them encouraging more people to play the game. to Losing money by giving you your money back why because you didnt play this game for 40 hours and enjoy it? that is about 1 dollar for every hour you played a game they took years to create.
Now that I have read what you typed: no amount of gold or items are magically going to make any of those players good at the game. If you enjoyed the game you would not care. What others do should not effect you. Never allow the actions of others to take away from your enjoyment if you do you give them the power and they win.
Not defending that refund noncence but in that case legit ppl should recive free copy for friends as apology for that mess instead of abusers cheaters and dupers who already fkd up some servers and what is that prize for ruining game for others? totaly b.s.
They may have taken a long time to create the game, but that doesn’t excuse falsely advertising and releasing a game they knew was this exploitable. And then beyond that, now handing out free copies of the game, inevitably giving back access to people that cheated. On top of that, rewarding players for abusing Steam’s family share when other people actually paid for multiple copies instead of doing that.
AGS needs to allow extended refunds through Steam, or at the very least can reach out to me to help me get my refund.
I still would like a refund through Steam, granting family share users a free copy on top of all the exploitation that has happened in this game is a slap in the face to paying customers who purchased multiple copies of the game instead of taking advantage of a feature that was misused.
