If you played 1000 hours plus you shouldn’t be blaming AGS, you should blame yourself!
I logged in today to see if anything has changed. Server is still dead, elites still one-shot you with no chance to escape. I can’t even walk to certain areas without aggroing elites and dying instantly to stunlocks.
I couldnt possibly see why…
Games have bugs.
Bugs get fixed over time.
Nothing right now, except people stuck on low pop servers, is game breaking or fun ruining enough to make a comment like that…
I can only assume you have been listening to people rather than keeping yourself updated on the revisions to the upcoming content patch.
If you did, you would know the games about to get way better…
But to each their own.
So many drama queens… unbelievable.
If you’re not enjoying the game, then quit.
If you have to “convince” yourself to play, you don’t enjoy it.
I look forward to logging in each and every evening after work. It’s my relaxing time.

I have a level 60 on a low pop server on US East and I know it will eventually be merged, but rather than wait and complain, I took advantage of rolling a new toon on a high pop server on US West. I chose a new starting city and faction. The beginning quest chain is different, I know more about game mechanics and this play through has been a lot of fun. I have more gold at level 20 than I had at 50+ on the old server.
Sometimes it’s fun to relax and enjoy the leveling experiences.
The game looks good, things to gather, and crafts. There is nothing there. Rinse and repeat. I will maybe quit soon too. Hope you find something else in life to do. I know I will have to find something else.

Do you not see the correlation between flagging for PVP and getting killed? Seriously Big Brain there is a connection there. Also it is easy to extrapolate the solution.
The solution is simple, don’t flag. Think for a minute your crying about how flagging for PVP is in your opinion not worth the hassle it creates for you.
That shows the risk vs reward factor is actually working. And it also proves why those flagging should get a bonus.

Sorry, I get what you’re saying but these problems don’t get fixed if we don’t show our discontent. I would have loved to be nicer and have more patience about these issues but what really got me HEATED was when I realized they were lying to us and refusing to acknowledge some of these glaring issues. We NEED to hold their toes to the fire about it.

I was mining starmetal for a week and got over 10k total sitting in different towns but then I did the math and realized I need almost 30,000 to hit 150 and get into orcihalum tools. Its depressing. I dont want to mine or log anymore and I am too old to PVP (slow reflexes). Hope you find something else that caters to your tastes.
We have managed to keep a good group together albeit the grind of the game is telling. Daily 1-3 hours of watermarking. I personally need to make 4948 more infused leather to get my armoring from level 150 to 200. With jewelry at 130, just need to make 9,000 more platinum chains.
What is this grind for? To get gear score 600 items. But, then you will want to get gear score 600 items with the right attributes. The amount of material and time required to rng a perfect armor and jewelry set, well that is months down the road.
Not sure if everyone will last that long. Or what it is for.
You do if you find out the kitchen is a shit hole serving in rat shit and alike if you wanna try comparing the two. God knows why people always say this crap “well you dont have your steak and eat it and complain” it’s the most stupidest thing ever.
This is how games evolve it’s not with people going quietly it’s with the people that take the time to point out and reasons why they and many others quit.
You really dont have to read and post in these threads but they can open the devs eyes to bigger issues especially when it’s a one time buy game with no sub.

The game is a pile of hot garbage honestly compared to other MMOs and the state they are in, but those MMOs had years some even decades of growing pains to get to the point they are at.
New World has a solid core they can build from, but I don’t think even AGS honestly knows what that is. The games main focus should be finding ways to encourage large scale pvp battles, that is when this game shines imo.
Warhammer had RvR lakes, or marked areas in a world map that was PERMA red zone, in those areas they had keeps, you could fight for these and push zones that way like Planetside. You slowly would push a zone tell you hit the castle, and then you would have a big faction vs faction battle in the player city.
These types of community driven pvp events are what this game needs more of, the current war system is such a boring @%#$ing grind of doing the same dumb missions over and over it’s a joke they thought that was going to be a good PVP design… do a crapton boring ass pve missions that just have you running back and forth like a bot to grind slowly a zone over to then have a “Scheduled” fight… what type of garbage design is that… Anybody who played Warhammer is looking at this choice and loling their ass off.
The PvE is an afterthought and we all know that, so don’t ever expect that to turn into much honestly. Even their endgame dungeon grind is a freaking joke with their entire Orb system… They have to accept now that if they want people to keep logging in then you have to give them a purpose… the faction idea was a smart move, but then the Company system ends up turning into a boys club with how they do the war invites … soon as you get some bad blood in a faction, it gets toxic and people don’t invite entire companies because of butthurt. Then wars are lost and zones flip… you end up with a broken war system that is gated by Governors

I feel this so much, been about 75% of my activity on this game for the past 2 weeks and it’s gotten pretty dull. I’ve slowly been losing gold trying to accelerate leveling since there really isn’t anything else to do until the peak hours of 5-8.
I recently hit 200 Arcana and I did it with just potion grinding.
I will say that I was shocked to find how fast all my Infused Regen potions solid for 12g each… and I crafted 1000s of these things to hit 200.
Was the first time in this game I honestly felt like I had a solid method of making money… and people bought them fast because of wars and invasions I assume, having been in many you tend to eat those like candy.
Here is the burn… the process of mass crafting those is so GAWD DAMN boring due to the insane levels of Hyssop you need to do a good run… so you honestly don’t want to do it… you feel like you are doing a legit chore with how much aimless running and looting of herbs there is that you just don’t GAF… then top it off with having to farm up motes then azoth… FML it’s just too much man… then you realize why they sell so well and for so much… MAKING THEM SUCKS ASS.
