I found a hidden cave in opening and would like to have dibs on a hidden easter egg boss. its kinda like the hidden cave in mourningdale only with a little more jank. completely unintentional but it takes you to some interesting places.
the first cave would be a great place to find an eccentric npc who gives you a great quest. one that leads you all over doing the strangest things but they swear is of the utmost importance but ultimately its all because they are trying to build themselves a companion to simply talk to but is entirely aware of their neighbors who they regard simply as unpleasant company.
and the second hidy hole. is just begging to be a hidden close quarters boss battle. and I’m hoping for a boss battle that even a highly skilled player would have a hard time with. no nerfed abilities, no slow lumbering movements. I wanna see a ravenous beast of a feral humanoid monster that darts around on all fours and attacks like a crazed monkey.
the most important part out of all of this is that I hope the devs dont just shut off access to areas like this. these are quarks in the game that both stand as a nod to past experiences in gaming history that reward the player for exploring and finding new places. putting stuff in them tells them that its okay. we want you to find stuff. that there is more to this game than what you might initially perceive and rewards the fans with a new challenge to the game than simply being the best fighter, crafter or gatherer.
