How will they respond to the very vocal complaints from people of these builds?
If the bow nerfs were anything to go by, they’ll just cave in due to complaints by GA builds dying to bow. Now I don’t even bother trying to engage GA builds.
They’ve created a large number of these builds, and some have unrealistic expectations.

Bow is still nerfed and he haven’t had any concrete change other than a CM saying the devs are aware of the situation and they are working on it. Just words.
What you have to consider is that they decided to nerf gravity well and after just one week on the PTR they changed and decided to BUFF it. Making it the strongest weapon in the game.
if they nerf GA and IG, the next meta will still be root based. Ahem, DRs please…

I want the AOE CC meta to stop at the moment. Singled targeted CC would be ideal, and diminishing returns on CC. Stun lock until death is not fun for anyone. It creates unrealistic expectations for players running these builds.
That’s why I will always advocate for DRs instead of nerffing x,y,z.
This game’s meta is whatever can hold someone down without them moving or dodging while they splat you with anything they can use. So without DRs, if GA and IG were somehow actually nerffed, then the meta would still swap over to another root spam type of meta.
People want ez, and quick. F skill gaps, let’s go cheese!
But we would have to be careful… what if one of the ways we nerf GA gravity well, was to reduce the targets allowed to be pulled at once? like only so many people can be effected by it!? well, the meta would be even more GWells to compensate for the number of people that can be effected. if they nerf it to not do damage at the end of the effects, then people would still use GW for for the utility, so they could swap over to their other weapon, to root/burst. and the meta wouldn’t be changed.
This is why I’ll always ask for DRs in a CC heavy game.
