AGS saw the long queues with a combined 3k+ players. They thought, “how can we improve this?”, and opened ONE on NA East. Great, something’s better than nothing.
Then they thought, now is a GREAT time to open all servers to transfers! Instead of an hour and a half, Valhalla now has a 3 hour queue. Wonderful!
In response, they open a new server!
On EU.
It feels like this game is a dart board and the studio a group of Parkinson’s sufferers playing casually. AGS, it doesn’t have to be this way. Advertise for a lead position in Common Sense and be done with this already.
Beyond opening new servers they are testing increased server caps. They bumped all servers to 2200 and have been testing one server at 2500. If the goal is to increase server caps then opening new servers now is only a temporary measure to help in the short term.
I am not sure how big they want to go with the server populations, but I am sure there are some out there who would love to be on a high population server.
