I’m sure I’m not the only one to think this or do this publicly or privately since the release of the PTR information.
Ever since day one, many of us have said “oh it’s just the teething stage, things will get better”.
Weeks later, we still kind of give them the benefit of the doubt.
Gold duping happens, and it takes them a while, and most of those people were only temp banned and rumors where they even got to keep things they duped. We thought, oh it’s just a minor oversight, and they won’t let it happen again.
But now I think I’ve finally had enough of the complete inexperience, total mismanagement of the game, lack of proper communication (HIRE MORE STAFF), continued abusive, toxic & exploitative behavior from players, which seems to continue to go unpunished or overlooked (GIVE CUSTOMER SUPPORT MORE POWERS & RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE PROPER GAME MASTERS INGAME)
I really did hope New World would be a great addition to the MMORPG landscape, but it’s unfortunately just showed, that even with a vast budget from the parent company, they have trouble with people management and this the sole reason New World has failed in what it promised to achieve.
The game as a whole can & will work, but they need to replace their core leadership, hire more developers and stop using outsourcing companies for their Quality Assurance.
But yeah, that’s it for me.
Now to wait for Lost Ark to be released, which thankfully was not developed by AGS (yes I know they’re the publisher, but that’s better than being the developer, as it would also be a dumpster fire as well, if that was the case).
The white knights & delusional individuals can not go ahead and defend the game & insult me – byebye!
